On Tuesday 10^th May, a group of 9 year 13 pupils travelled to Castledermot, Carlow to participate in the civic link exchange with our partner school, Colaiste Lorcain. The girls took part in a range of workshops with 23 transition year students. They had opportunity to discuss their schools, communities and their chosen projects. Over the three days, the students also went swimming, enjoyed meals out, went bowling, visited Newbridge silver museum and went shopping in the White Water centre. The exchange proved to be an invaluable opportunity; giving all of the students involved to develop friendships and to discuss issues that effect people north and south of the border.  

Unfortunately due to the poor weather in December, the first exchange visit to be held in Belfast was cancelled. This exchange will be reorganised in the Spring term.
