60% Coursework:

• Focused task: 5% Presentation Drawing / CAD
• Focused task: 5% Product Evaluation
• Design Portfolio and Manufacture: 50%

The theme of your coursework, should be relevant to you and display an area of interest or solve a problem which you are interested in.  This could include:

Alarms and sensors                   Counting devices

Light Indicators                         Electronic Dice

40% Examination:

There are two tiers of entry, where pupils will answer questions on:

• Electronics
• Pneumatics
• Mechanisms
• Computer Control
• Materials and Manufacture
