If a student is isolating and unable to attend to collect her results, she or her parent should contact the school.

·         Any results not collected on either results day will be posted that evening and will not be available for collection from school on any other date.

·         Information about Post- Results Services and Appeals can be found within the Post-Result Services (Appeals) Policy on the school website.

·         On the results days, only a small team of staff will be present in school. Should you wish to speak to a specific member of staff regarding your daughter’s results, please make a request through the school office and the member of staff will telephone you back.

·         A one-way system has been organised for each of the results days:

Entrance will be through the main door.

Results envelopes will be collected from Mrs Christy and Mr Patterson in the atrium.

On GCE results day, each student and their parent will then be asked to walk around to the gym. Mr McClintock will be in the gym to discuss the return to school for Year 13 students going into Year 14 and to confirm places. Our careers teachers, Mrs Bowers and Mr Cuttle will be in the gym to confirm leavers destinations and provide advice on UCAS applications for Year 14.

On GCSE results day, all Year 12 students and their parents will then be asked to walk around to the PE corridor. If not returning to Ashfield Girls’ for sixth form, students should go to the gym to indicate their leavers destination and for advice with our careers teachers, Mrs Bowers and Mr Cuttle. Students who wish to take a place in sixth form should go to the Sports Hall. Mr McClintock, Miss Dunlop and Mrs Doak will meet with students and their parent individually to discuss subject choices for the next academic year.

The sixth form registration fee (£30) and payment for the sixth form tie (£6) should also be paid to Miss Miller in the Sports Hall.

Students and parents will exit the school building either from the fire exit in the gym or in the sports hall.

Exam certificates will arrive in school by November 2022. Notifications will be placed on the school website to inform you when they can be collected.
